Help change the lives of youth in a community near you.

Every kid deserves a chance to discover the magic of music. Unfortunately, too many schools can’t afford creative programs or don't cover modern music making methods that most of today's youth are interested in.

We send local producers and MCs into schools to teach music production workshops to young students. When students want to keep learning, we connect them with mentors — both online &or in person — to help them continue their growth.

The Industry Fund

Music venues, touring musicians, local businesses and private donors are rallied to become our Industry Champions, supporting the cause by donating $1 per ticket sale to help fund a Boredomfighters chapter in your area. This is the first step to bringing workshops to your community.

This generous donation covers operational costs to put studios in local schools, allowing The Community Fund to go directly towards bringing free  programs in those studios to underserved youth in that area.

Local Impact Projects

After the stage is set & The Community Fund is helping grow the branch, that local team works with our nationwide ecosystem of touring artists, educators, and coordinators.

We then can all collaborate with the school districts to inspire, educate, and activate local youth within their local music industry.

The Community Fund

Once an Industry Fund is established in an area and that community raises enough for the mobile studio, The Community Fund can be activated.

Every 10 people that sign up for this allow the local team to run one public workshop and mentor 5 local kids for a month.

Personal Mentorships

When students show an elevated amount of interest, we offer them free personal mentorships to help them further develop their skills and activate into the local community.

Asset 1.png

Each activation costs us $500 to produce and we ALWAYS hire locally, from producers to emcees & educators.

Every 10 people that signs up for a year allows us host a workshop up to 250 kids & mentor 5 new students.

Growing A Local BF Branch

Do you want initiate change & bring modern music education to underserved youth in your community?

local town vector-03.png
local town vector-06.png

STEP ONE:

Find Local Champions

The first step to starting a local Boredomfighters Branch is to find Industry Champions to pledge a donation to your local Industry Fund. This fund covers all of your local operating expenses, giving us the resources to start activating the surrounding community.

Industry Fund Champions are composed of Venues, Festivals, Touring Artists, Local Brands & Private Donors.

STEP TWO:

Raise $10k+ For Your Industry Fund

In order to grow your branch, you need funding to help put studio gear in the classrooms & properly train local educators. This is where your Industry Champions come into play. Once 10k is raised for the branch, we can activate immediately.

This initial 10K doesn't only cover back-of-house expenses, but also sets your team up with funding for 1 workshop per month for a year. This ensures that your chapter can start strong and activate locally immediately.

STEP THREE:

Activate Your Community Fund

Now you are ready to activate your Community Fund. This fund is made up of donations that come fans, friends, and supporters in your community. Since business expenses are covered by the Industry Fund, your Community Fund is able to go directly towards workshops & mentorships for youth.

For every 10 members in the Community Fund, we can activate a workshop for up to 250 kids and provide an 8 week personal mentorship for 5 students.

STEP FOUR:

Grow Your Branch & Community.

By now, you are smooth sailing. Both funds are up and running and your actively hosting workshops in your community. Soon you will have more schools calling asking for support. To ensure readiness, it's time to find more Industry Champions to stabilize your team.
