Why Music?

Every day, millions of kids are growing up without access to music education. Losing not just the chance to make a beat, but their opportunity to build confidence, creativity, and community.
-
🏠 Families can’t afford gear or lessons.
-
🏢 Cities lack safe spaces & mentorship.
-
🌍 Rural areas lack music culture.
-
🎒 Schools cutting programs & lack modern curricula.

Kids lack access to resources & role models
Youth from low-income families, those whose parents are receiving public assistance, and those who are living in neighborhoods with greater levels of poverty … are all disproportionately less likely to report having an influential relationship with a mentor.
We bring the music and community directly to them
The Instrument Garden Studio can be deployed in many shapes & sizes, perfect for school assemblies, community centers, libraries, and more! To date we have served 138 schools and empower over 14,000 students in the studio.

Our three-step process to success helps us ensure that youth can be supported throughout their whole journey, from a novice noise maker to beat producing champion.
OUR PROCESS:

HOW WE INSPIRE
We team up with schools, youth centers, community groups, and events to bring our Instrument Garden Studio Workshop directly to the kids. This workshop introduces the art of music production by helping participants create beats, melodies, and vocals that get transformed into their own custom song, live before their eyes.

It's time to take action.
Every day, millions of kids are growing up without access to music education — losing not just the chance to make a beat, but their opportunity to build confidence, creativity, and community.
These problems are real, but together, we can be the change. When you take action, you help us bring studios to schools, mentor young producers, and light up imaginations through the power of music. This is more than a program — it’s a movement.
Together, we can #HelpKidsMakeBeats
"When you collaborate with others, you create something bigger than yourself."
